He can't imagine it gets easier. This is the first friend he made in this place (outside of knowing Xingchen). Zichen has never made friends easily, it wasn't his nature to be easy to talk with or very approachable.

"My friend Henry has gone." Friend might be a little bit of an understatement, but true nonetheless. Whatever else Henry may have been to Song Lan, he was a friend first.
